Cold Sores
Description: A small, sore lump on the inside of your mouth or on your tongue.
Important note: Do see your GP if your mouth ulcer lasts for more than 3 months, if it keeps coming back, or if it gets more painful and red.
Tips
Earwax
Dab some earwax onto your cold sore, and it will help to stop the tingling and the pain. Evidently earwax has anti-herpes and anti-microbial properties.
Vinegar
Saturate a cotton wool ball in white distilled vinegar, and dab on your cold sore. Repeat three times a day – it should soothe the pain and swelling.
